Coffee, story, cakes... All these things make our coffee shop great but nothing of this could work without our amazing staff. Our baristas are the backbone of The Milkman - and the lovely faces you see when stopping by for a morning coffee or an afternoon treat - that’s why we can’t wait for you to meet them!

Interests: Reading, baking, wine and coffee
When she’s not counting the layers of her rosettas or being a sweetheart you can find her learning sign language, sifting through books, walking near the sea and enjoying a good glass of wine with friends.
GIULIA
Our Manager and experienced barista.
Favourite food: Okonomiyaki
Favourite coffee: Anything from Burundi on pour-over.
Interests: Writing, anime and human anatomy
When she’s not bossing people around or ordering too much coffee you can find her fangirling over fictional characters, writing fiction and creative-nonfiction - and sometimes getting published too.
LANA
The newest addition to our team.
Favourite food: Peanut butter and jam on sourdough toast
Favourite coffee: Oat milk flat white
Interests: Reading, running and cinema
When she’s not behind the counter cheering everyone up and tasting some coffee you can find her enjoying the Edinburgh coffee scene, meeting friends for coffee or reading a new book.

Our one and only male barista.
Favourite food: Shakshuka
Favourite coffee: Girls Who Grind have a cracking Rwandan!
Interests: Drawing, yellow, photographing and going to the cinema
When he is not getting excited at new coffees or landing poor jokes you can find him freelance illustrating away or filming wedding videos.
LOLA
Our only tattooed barista.
Favourite food: Chocolate cake & Crisps
Favourite coffee: Flat White
Interests: Climbing, plants and reading non fiction.
When she is not behind the counter pulling shots and planning her next tattoo you can find her at the climbing gym or a local climbing crag.
MARK
Our Boss and original coffee enthusiast.
Favourite food: My granny’s fish pie.
Favourite coffee: It changes all the time, I’ve just had a lovely Kenyan from Ditta Artigianale on V60.
Interests: family, travelling, gardening, sport, too many to name them all.
When he is not serving you silky lattes or embarrassing the staff with his dad jokes you can find him telling dad jokes to someone else.

Interests: Cinema, anime and Japan
When she’s not recommending coffee to our customers or listening to Japanese pop first thing in the morning, you can find her watching films and freelance writing about them.
